Mini Vacay - Seattle!

We took a mini-vacation to Seattle this past weekend and had a FABULOUS time. We left on Friday night and had a nice, quiet drive as Ava and Oliver slept in the backseat the entire time. It was around her bedtime anyways, so it worked out perfectly. Kent and I took advantage of the peace and quiet and talked and played games the whole way. THAT in itself was fun, believe it or not!

In Seattle, we stayed with my sister Lori, who has an awesome little condo right smack dab near downtown. We were minutes away from Pike’s Place, the Space Needle, and all the major highways. We had such a good time hanging out with Lori and Trevor and really appreciated their hospitality – THANK YOU! Ava was spoiled rotten from Aunty Lori and Uncle Trevor with lots of attention, toys, and gifts. This trip was a first for Ava and we were able to do a lot of fun things during a short weekend. I’ll let the photos do the talking, but our trip included Ava going to the Hemp Festival with Aunty Lori and Trevor (haha!), going to a Mariner/Yankee’s game, Pike’s Market, and LOTS of good food at interesting restaurants (compliments of our city slicker uncle and aunty!).
