Bleh
I stayed home from work today because of a rough night of babymo kicking and squirming in addition to...Braxton Hicks contractions! Now that I'm officially at 35 weeks (only 5 more to go!), I've been feeling a little more tightening around my belly now and again. Last night's "episode" was definitely not the usual tightening and for one panic-stricken moment, I seriously thought I was going into labor.
After being up all night nervously waiting for my water to break, I finally gave up and decided to let nature take its course. If I was destined to be like one of those women on the Discovery channel that birth their baby in the toilet, then so be it. Exhausted as I am from lack of sleep and nervousness, I also feel extremely lazy...which I hate. It's uncomfortable to lie down or do anything else, so I'm just sitting on the couch like a blob with my two new best friends, Oliver and Mocha. Here's a picture of us now:
