We're Done!

The baby nursery is finally done!!! Here are some photos of the completed nursery. With so many things coming down the pipeline in the next couple of weeks, this is a HUGE relief for us now that we know babymo's room is complete. Whewf!

We officially started working on the nursery back in October by painting the room and adding the crown molding/chair rails (all thanks to Kent!) and I have to say that it turned out better than I thought. Kent, my dear husband, has done a FABULOUS job planning, measuring, cutting, painting, spackeling (I think...), sanding, nailing, and finally finishing all the crown molding and chair rails in the room all by himself. Not really being the handy man/tool type of guy, he did an amazing job learning to do everything from scratch. This was his gift to me and babymo and we love it and can't thank him enough... :). It's the cherry on the cake, the parsely to the $50 veal parmesan dinner, and the small (but very noticeable) finishing touch that makes the room glow. Without it, the room wouldn't be the same...thank you honey!

We ultimately wanted a beautiful and peaceful room for the baby to sleep and grow in and the loving detail that Kent put into the room has definitely given the room a very calm and serene energy. It was truly a labor of love to put everything together, but we love it and hope the baby will too.
